David Rhys-Jones Signed Memorabilia

David Rhys-Jones produced one of the great individual Grand Final performances in the game’s history. Handed the job of stopping Hawthorn champion Dermott Brereton in the 1987 decider, he kept Brereton goalless and was named the unanimous winner of the Norm Smith Medal as Carlton stormed to the premiership. It remains one of the most famous tagging jobs ever seen on the biggest stage.

Rhys-Jones began his career with South Melbourne and the Sydney Swans before crossing to Carlton in 1985, where he played 106 games and became a premiership hero in navy blue. Quick, courageous and a genuine big-game performer, he is firmly part of Carlton folklore.
